Dr. Miguel Flores is a board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist, bringing over two decades of comprehensive experience to his practice in Miami.

Born in New York and raised in a bicultural Dominican-American household, Dr. Flores received his medical degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in 1992. He then completed his residency in psychiatry at New York College, followed by a fellowship in addiction medicine at Rutgers University.

Dr. Flores' career spans the full spectrum of psychiatric care in the Miami area, including:

Outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, Providing comprehensive care for a wide range of mental health and addiction disorders. Consultation for Baptist Health System, Collaborating with multiple Baptist Health hospitals to enhance psychiatric care. Leadership roles, Serving as the Psychiatric Director for both Baptist Health and Palmetto Hospital. Research, Participating in clinical trials for newly developed psychiatric medications. Additional settings, Providing care in ALF nursing homes and other settings.

Dr. Flores is board-certified in both psychiatry (ABPN, 2013) and addiction medicine (2013).

He is fluent in both English and Spanish, facilitating communication and care for a diverse patient population.
